Excessive travel means limited blogging time lately, but I’ve had plenty of time for running. A few highlights:

First, some bone-chilling runs in beautiful downtown Indianapolis, my hometown.

(I need a new camera.)

Dave made a bright appearance in Indy.

And then, a roundabout trip to Washington, D.C., followed by an immediate jaunt up to Connecticut to see the boy’s family. Luckily, the Nutmeg State has a little more natural beauty to offer than I realized. We hoofed up the rocky Metacomet Trail to reach a viewpoint at the Heublein Tower near West Hartford.

Basically camo.

Did you know Connecticut could be so pretty?
What’s it’s like to run in your hometown?
